Protecting People & Property
Existing waste receptacles, including see-through bags, represent an inherent risk to the public by providing a drop point from an improvised explosive device (IED).
The following injuries are typical of an IED attack:
1. Critical burns, hearing loss and lung damage.
2. First and second degree burns, hearing loss and lung damage.
3. First degree burns, onset of ear and lung damage.
4. Severe injuries from fragments of flying glass
will be responsible for the majority of casualties.
Protecting People & Property
Renew’s proprietary Blast Intelligent Technology mitigates the fragmentation and blast from an improvised explosive device (IED).
The armour of the unit arrests primary and secdonary
framentation while the blast attentuation reduces the
peak pressure and the fireball.
The comparative result is outlined below:
1. Minor injuries and possible ear damage.
2. Safe zone. No injuries suffered.
3. Glass remains intact, avoiding further injuries.
